Modern risk management  has grown increasingly complex due to more scrutiny from regulators and stakeholders. Business information is vital to conducting transactions, which makes business risk and record keeping risk he same.

At SAFECO we are all “Risk Managers” and own part of the risk associated with our firm. SAFECO operates under 3 lines of defense model. Our practicing associates own the risk associated with their day-to-day operation of their business and considered the 1st line of defense.   

SAFECO Compliance Group along with Risk & Control team which are tasked with monitoring and escalation of  gap in our policy execution by the 1st line is considered the firm’s 2nd line of defense. 

Finally, our 3rd line of defense is comprise of  our internal transaction review team and legal staff which are managed by SAFECO Internal Audit Dept.

Agent Desk

We are so excited that you’ve started your career as a SAFECO real estate agent. The following plan of action will help you to do the right things at the right time for a successful start of your real estate career. Be sure to follow them and ask question if you don’t know.

You can always reach out to your broker using the “Huddle Room” at the bottom of this page.

By now you have already received your “Orientation Email”. Be sure to complete every step described in that email. We typically allow 2 weeks from the date of the email for you to complete the steps. Please reach out to us if you are unable to complete them within the requested timeframe.

You are required to complete certain training courses when you join SAFECO. Most of these trainings (if not all) are on-line and accessible to you for FREE either through SAFECO directly,  our Vendors or thorough our partnership with the Texas Board of Realtors. Although there is no time limit, you should complete them at your earliest convenience.  our Education Dept. is spending many hours to create, review and vetting the curriculum for our new agents and constantly updating the materials as needed.  We only expect you to invest the same amount of time if not more to learn and ask questions. After all this is about your success in real estate sale and we are your partner. Remember, we are here to help but you need to make the effort to learn the material first then ask question either from the vendor who provided the material, or from us or the Realtor Board. The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. Earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a way to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate. SAFECO, REALTORS® will partner with you on this endeavor.

Under this program you will Earn a GRI designation and SAFECO, REALTORS® will reimburse 50% of your tuition cost after your 3rd closing within the same year.

No matter which one of our Realtor Boards you are a member of, we are offering virtually unlimited number of real estate courses through our affiliated Texas Realtor Boards. Contact your Local Board and ask to speak with the Education Dept. We will be able to guide you through many course topics depending on your business plan. From contract writing to lead generation to become a successful real estate agent and many more.

However, before printing, you must send your proof to the office to ensure compliance with licensing agencies and the firm’s  policies. Please send a message through Huddle Room and attach your proof.  Below, we have provided our logos in 3 different formats.  See the “Download Logo” buttons below. 

You also have an option to order your real estate signs through SAFECO, REALTORS® which would include your name and number on the sign. Signs that are ordered through us will have our standard template and can not be further customized.
